Photo dynamic Antimicrobial Therapy (PACT) is a treatment approach that may be used as part of managing fungal nails.
One of the most common conditions for which PACT may be considered is fungal toenails, also known as onychomycosis.
PACT uses LED light together with a photosensitive gel during treatment. Your podiatrist will assess whether this approach may be appropriate for your nail condition and discuss other management options where relevant.
